Since there are several power electronics circuits in a rear section of a Platform, we need to install some fans to provide better cooling of such boards.

Developers of electronic circuits should estimate power consumption and heat dissipation of circuits and must consider additional cooling on each board, where required. Refer to the Platform design recommendations page for further advices.

Actual design

Active cooling is performed by two Sunon 92 mm / 24VDC fans (model: PE92252V3-A99). Each fan is mounted to the internal side of a left and right plate of a rear section.

Previous design

Active cooling is performed by two Sunon 80 mm / 24VDC fans. These fans are mounted to the internal side of a rear plate of a rear section.
